The Care+ Project (Cross-Border Cooperation For Actions For Water Resources), An International Project Between Belgium (Province Of West Flanders) And France (Pas-De-Calais), Aims To Improve The Water Quality Of The Stakes, Located In The International Water Basin, More Precisely On The Cross-Border Watersheds Of The Lys And The Yser. These Rivers Are Currently Affected By Multiple Pollution, Including Those From Agricultural Activity. Phytosanitary Products And Nutrients Regularly Used By Farmers In The Territory Impact The Quality Of Watercourses, As Well As Practices Conveying Suspended Materials, Especially During Heavy Rains. These Pollution Endangers Existing Uses Of The Resource, Such As The Drinking Water Supply. As Part Of The Care+Project, A Work Of Awareness And Involvement Of Farmers Will Be Carried Out On Several Pilot Sites Spread On Both Sides Of The Franco-Belgian Border. As Part Of The European Care+Project, The Symsagel Is Looking For A Service Provider To Assess The Impact Of Agronomic Measures And The Reduction Work Of The Subjects In Suspension On 5 Priority Watersides
