| Description | Imec Knowledge & Connectivity Hub - Connecting policy, infrastructure, and opportunity across the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor Haifa Bay Municipal Cluster was established in 2019 and brings together 18 local authorities along with the City of Haifa, representing nearly 800,000 residents across a diverse and multicultural region in northern Israel. The Cluster serves as a strategic driver of integrated regional development – advancing economic growth, strengthening social resilience, and promoting environmental sustainability. Its core mission is to foster cross-municipal collaboration, improve public services, and unlock shared opportunities. Over the past years, the Cluster has built a strong foundation for multi-sector dialogue, engaging local and central government, business leaders, civil society, and academia. This collaborative platform enables new partnerships, surfaces shared challenges, and creates long-term solutions with a tangible impact on the daily lives of residents throughout Haifa Bay and its surrounding communities. |
